Steve Paddack is generally considered one of the best painters in the Central Indiana Area. Steve Graduated from Herron School of Art and Recieved his MFA from The University of Illinois. He has exhibited widely in the local area and has won numerous awards locally, including Best of Show in the American States Competition for "Eyesore"and Best of Show in the Harvest Biennial for "Parkway" both of which were in his show at the gallery in May of 97. Steve deserves a museum show in our opinion, a complete set of slides is available to anyone in a curatorial capacity.
Steve's New body of work "Paintings from the Unknown Country" is a large suite of almost 40 smaller works. The show has been critically acclaimed by Both Julie McQuiston of Nuvo and Steve Mannheimer of the Indianapolis Star. Images of the works are being reproduced and will be up here soon.
